La verdad es que me quedan serias dudas en algunos casos, pero en otros les doy toda la razón, Yo uso Debian y mi entorno de escritorio es Gnome, y No pienso sustituirlos hasta que aparezca uno que verdaderamente me convenza en GNU/linux más que Debian, claro que por el lado de Bsd tengo freeBSD también con Gnome y PC-BSD, que es fucional con KDE. En cuanto a navegadores el genial firefox aunque personalmente lo siento algo tragon de memoria,creo que opera me resulta bueno. También veo muchas aplicaciones KDE en la lista, no tengo tanta experiencia en KDE, pero por lo que he notado en PC-BSD creo cumpen su función. Y por supuesto mi favorito, Bash, sinceramente es genial, puedes hacer todo tipo de scripts para tener el control…. bash es mi preferido, aunque ahora que me he enrolado con BSD me dio por experimentar con cshell. A esta lista doy la razón de su preferencia por VirtualBox, gimp, openoffice.org y eclipse.
